Why Buying the Right Trigger Matters

Why should I pay more when less will work just fine!? We’ve all been on this side of the argument and hate to pay more if we don’t have to. For a very simplistic answer to this question, the cheap one is not going to last long, and in the end, you’ll spend more.

So how do I choose the right trigger (or rather, how do I save some money!)? In reality, the basics are pretty simple; however, if you really want to maximize performance and cost, it takes a bit of planning.

To aid in your planning, we’ve put together a list of triggers we sell along with a brief description of each to help you choose the best trigger for your work. We begin with standard triggers with a variety of uses and build into specialized triggers designed for those who really need results.

Multi-purpose Triggers

Tolco-100W (White)

This trigger is one of our cheapest triggers and a go to for customers who don’t yet understand the importance of their trigger. With trigger settings ranging from mist to spray, this trigger is primarily used in bottling our smaller 16oz products such as all our fragrances, Show Room Shine, and Ultra Blue. The trigger is perfect for reduce cost to customers on smaller bottles that are used and empty before your trigger has given out. This cheaper costs, however, results in a product more susceptible to wear and tear for prolonged use beyond its lifespan.

Tolco-320RW (Red and White)

This triggers is our most versatile trigger and a standard for most of our customer. Rubber piston cups extend the life and durability of this trigger. Its three finger trigger lends support and comfortability to the user. Products that are best used with this trigger include Show Room Shine, fragrances, and soaps (when heavily diluted)

Chemical Resistant Triggers

Tolco-320CR (Grey)

This is one of most essential triggers due to the fact that it holds up the best against our Show Car Products’ tire shine. Its superior resistance and sturdy outer body makes it perfect when looking for a durable trigger. Products that are best used with this trigger include tire shines, Wheel Bright, Leather & Plastic Cleaner, Whitewall Cleaner, Bug Away, Lift Out, and Dry Foam.

SM Arnold 92-701 (Black) & SM Arnold 92-710 (Red)

These triggers allow for optimal comfortability with outstanding results. They have an adjustable nozzle-tip ranging from wide mist to sharp stream. They feature a comfortable four finger trigger grip and comes equipped with a heavy-duty strainer. Products that are best used with this trigger include degreasers, Wheel Bright, Leather & Plastic Cleaner, Whitewall Cleaner, Bug Away, Lift Out, and Dry Foam.

Acid Resistant Triggers

Tolco-320ARS (Gold and Black)

The proprietary design of this trigger extends its product life beyond any other with acidic solutions. Its greater output per stroke significantly reduces the number of pulls on the trigger reducing fatigue on your hands as well as the trigger itself. Its outer body protects the piston assembly from damage during use and storage. Products best used with this trigger include Aluminum Brightener, Wheel Bright, and other acidic solutions.

High Output Triggers

Tolco-260 (Yellow and Blue)

This trigger is optimal for shorter sessions where greater product flow is necessary. Its four-finger grip and rear support allows for maximum comfort. Up to 3.5x greater output per stroke reduces user and trigger fatigue. Its high output and extra-large spray pattern makes quick work of any job. Its rubber piston cup extends overall lifetime and provides broader chemical resistance. Products best used with this trigger include soaps, Cleans All, Super Dyno, Extra Strength Glass Cleaner, Lift Out, and Dry Foam.

Tolco-640 (Green and White)

This trigger is optimal for long sessions where greater product flow is necessary. With a cushioned three finger trigger and rear support, extended use of this trigger becomes a breeze. It provides up to 4x greater output per stroke significantly reducing user and trigger fatigue. Its extra-large spray pattern allows for quick work of any job. Products best used with this trigger include soaps, Extra Strength Glass Cleaner, Lift Out, and Dry Foam.

Foamer Triggers

Tolco-322 (White)

This trigger is optimal for products that benefit from foaming action use. With its three-finger trigger and rear support, comfort becomes the norm. It has a 40% greater output per stroke which significantly reduces the number of time you pull the trigger. Its rubber piston cup extends overall lifetime and provides broader chemical resistance. Its foam action helps reduce overall detail/cleaning cost by reducing the overall consumption of chemicals. Products best used with this trigger include soaps (when diluted heavily), Lift Out, Dry Foam, and Extra Strength Glass Cleaner.
